Privacy Policy — Enough for Today
Effective date: September 18, 2026
The short version
- It's your data. Your data stays on your phone. We never see it, and the app never sends it anywhere.
- We collect nothing about you. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising IDs, no trackers, no crash-reporting services running in the background.
- The only way any information ever reaches us is if you choose to email us yourself — for example, to report a bug, optionally attaching a screenshot if you choose to take one. Nothing is sent to us automatically.
- You can back up, restore, or permanently delete your data at any time, directly inside the app. You never have to wonder if a cloud copy was deleted — because there is no cloud copy.
Why we built it this way
We believe your information belongs to you — not to us, not to an advertiser, and not to a server we'd have to defend from being hacked. So rather than writing a policy promising to handle your data carefully, we built the app so that we never handle it at all. There's no server, and no account system to tie it to your identity.
What we don't collect
Enough for Today does not collect, transmit, or have any access to:
- Your location
- Your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
- Any advertising or tracking identifier
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Crash logs sent automatically to us or any third party
- An email address, account, or any way to identify who you are
What we collect
Enough for Today collects nothing. We don't know anything about you. There is no login. There is no account. There is nothing to sign up for.
What you create and control
Everything you enter — your activities, your daily log, your Setup preferences, notes you write — is stored in a private database on your own device, using the operating system's standard app-private storage.
Backups. If you use the app's backup feature, it creates a plain file on your device, in a folder you choose. The app doesn't send it anywhere. That file is yours, in a simple JSON format you can import into other data analysis software without any restriction, to use as you see fit. If you move that file or data somewhere else (a cloud drive, an email, a computer), it's protected by whatever security that destination offers, not by anything Enough for Today does — worth keeping in mind if you're storing sensitive notes.
Deleting your data. The app includes a "wipe" feature, with a deliberate confirmation step, that permanently deletes your data on your device. Because we never held a copy anywhere else, there's no separate deletion request to make — deleting it on your device is deleting it, fully.
How your data is protected
Your data sits in the app's private storage, which modern Android devices encrypt at rest by default. If you protect your phone with a PIN, password, or biometric lock, that same protection extends to everything Enough for Today stores — we don't add anything on top of it, and we don't need to, because we rely on the platform's own security rather than inventing our own. If your phone has no lock screen set at all, that protection is much weaker in practice, so we'd recommend setting one regardless of this app.
If you contact us
If you email us — for a bug report, a question, or anything else — we receive whatever you choose to write and, if you attach one, a screenshot. We use that solely to help you and to improve the app. We don't collect this automatically, and we don't want more than you choose to intentionally share.
Children's privacy
Enough for Today is not directed at children and does not collect information from anyone, including children, since it doesn't collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that does involve data leaving your device, such as an optional cloud sync — we'll update this document and make the change clear. And we won't coerce or corral you into opting in to any data sharing to keep using the core features.
